My deepest condolences to Louise and Tina at the passing of beautiful Leony. She was such a gentle, funny and strong lady who despite the odds managed to bring a beautiful child in to the world. I sat with Leony when she was first diagnosed with her cancer at the PA hospital. She told me her life story and oh how I wished she had opened up to me in earlier years. We lost contact during some of those years when she parted from Andrus and I was immersed in trying to raise triplet babies and then my own battle with breast cancer, so we did not see each other much, but I never stopped thinking of Leony and it was so good to see her now and then. She always had a smile for me, and me for her. However she suffered silently, both emotionally and later on physically when trying to understand why she was not always feeling so well. I laughed and cried with Leony at the hospital. Well, what an amazing woman. She had such love for her daughter and as a mother I felt that. Also, she referred to her soulmate sister as her saint. This sister, Tina, no matter what, did everything to ensure Leony was looked after. She looked after Leony once she parted from Andrus and then kept a vigil at her bedside in her last weeks, then days. Goodbye Leony. ..goodnight sweet princess and “may flocks of angels send thee to thy rest.” Love Shareen.
Unfortunately Per is away in Denmark tending to his sick dad. Condolences from all my family: Shareen, Per, Caelan, Mia and Lars
