Loving mother of Ilze (dec’) and Aina.
Adored Grandma of Indra and Kriss, and Great-Grandma of Rowen, Riley and Heidi.

Dearest Aina
I think of you every day and send you much love. Your mother was very special. We lived far apart, but she has always remained in my heart as my godmother. I remember the beautiful clothes she made – she was a superb seamstress – and I still have the little sewing box she gave me for my tenth birthday, fifty nine years ago, filled with colored embroidery threads and needles. I know her end of life journey was a challenging one, but she had a rich and long life and now she is at peace.
