  1. We would like to view the funeral. As we live in Tasmania we are not able to attend. My husband David is Elaine’s older brother and our son Phillip Harker will be representing us at the funeral.
    May she rest in peace.

  5. I was Rob and Elaine’s cleaner weekly for more than 3 years and the time spent in their house with them both was always so lovely. I looked forward to attending their clean every week and chatting to them both. Talking with Elaine about her chickens and them both about their wonderful charity work for the Ukraine. I will miss my visits with them both very much. May your now rest in peace dear Elaine.

    1. Hi Ann, Elaine so loved your Wednesday visits, you bright spark! The conversations were more important than the cleaning, not that you aren’t great at cleaning! Stay in touch and remember if you have unexpected downtime, check out whether I’m around for a cuppa.

  6. Sorry I didn’t spend more time with Elaine.
She was so easy to talk to and be with.
My promise is to do that after the resurrection when she can wake up to a peaceful world where there is no more pain and earthly paradise is being restored.
    Sleep well dear Elaine.
You probably will want to have a conversation with that bloke whom Jesus gave that promise to
on the day of His death-knowing you.

    1. Thank you Penny. We’re looking forward to that Glorious Day and what will follow together, more amazing than we can now imagine.

  7. I will always treasure our friendship, we used to teach together in NZ. Elaine was kind enough to let me sleep on her floor when I first arrived in London for my big OE, later on we were flatmates in London and I still remember her first telling me about this English man she had met called Rob! I will have to find the poem Elaine wrote for me when I got married, she was so clever with words. I loved catching up with Elaine in Australia over the years and hearing about the family, especially Sonja who I used to teach. I can’t believe Elaine was a great Nana!!

Rest in love Elaine, you positively impacted the lives of so many in this world, you will be greatly missed 💖

  8. Sending a message of sympathy from a friend in London that Elaine and Rob knew from their time in England.

We had many good times on trips around England. Elaine and Rob invited me to stay on Tambourine Mountain during a visit I made to Australia. I will always remember their kindness and hospitality and Elaine’s ready smile,

    Condolences to family and friends

    Tim
