To Carol and Family,
You have our deepest sympathy on the passing of John.
He was a man we had a great respect for. A happy disposition and a will to help others at anytime.
During his illness his acceptance of what he had no control over shone through and his character remained as it always was.
A great example of the man he is and to those around him that his life touched. He touched our lives in many ways and we were proud to call him our
friend, we will miss him greatly but will never forget his smile and welcoming ways.
May God Bless you and care for you and your family at this time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love Graham, Helen and Family.
My father in law, John was a simple man and yet he was very intense as well. He was a thinker, an Artist , but above all he was a family man!
I know his life wasn’t an easy one, he always made sure that his children had what they needed to not only grow up, but to be responsible, hard working, ethical and loving people. He taught his children to help each other and anyone who needed help. He taught them by his example, to work hard, to think and to never give up. These are character traits that all of his children have.
Each one of them works hard, helps others, and is a loving parent to all their children. We have all been touched by his selflessness and admired him for always being there when he was needed. There is no better way to let you know how much I admired him, not just as my Father In Law, but as the grandfather to my children and many of their cousins as well.
I’m sure that he is with us still, as many of his most wonderful traits are now part of what makes up my whole extended family. I see the strengths that he had, passed on to my husband John and sisters Cheryl Carol and Cylie Dad had tremendous faith Even though he suffered much during his cancer treatments, he never complained and his fighting spirit was an inspiration to me and others. While we mourn this terrible loss, let us never forget those whom we all have lost over the years by cherishing the life they had with us…Remember “No one is actually dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away. Let us keep these ripples moving now and with future generations to come.‘’ Dad has left many ripples his family will remember a man that worked hard to provide for them instilling in them a strong sense of ethics as well as a great artist his wood work is his appreciation of wood and nature. and a great source of pride from his family . Mum and Dad where a great couple and mum I know you will miss him terribly and he has left a big gap but always remember how much we love you both and you will look at you children and grand children and great grandchildren and see bits of dad shine through
Dearest John, Carol and family,
Please except our heart-felt condolences.
We haven’t had the privilege of knowing John for a long time. But what we do know is that he was always welcoming and made us feel like we were part of the family.
We admired his incredible talent being able to create something so amazing out of wood.
It was obvious he was a man with a huge heart, his love for his wife, his family and especially for God was unmistakable.
We feel your loss and the emptiness his passing will leave in your hearts.
Praise God it is but for a short time and soon we will be reunited with our loved ones, never more to be apart.
May God wrap you all in His loving arms.
Sending our love to you all.
Adam & Mary.
