We are saddened to hear of Margaret’s passing. She was a good friend, I loved her smile and her laugh. She was loving and generous, her family meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed. Our heart goes out to all her family; her children, their families, including so many grandchildren and even great grandchildren. My sons, Paul and Andrew, send their condolences on the passing of such a lovely lady. We have so many cherished memories of our time together while living in Darwin. On watching her Celebration of Life this morning, I noticed comment was made of her learning to drive! I am happy to say that I taught Margaret to drive… a softer approach than being taught by men, particularly a husband! We would go out to the developing new northern suburbs, to practise driving around the new streets which didn’t yet have houses built upon them. One day, one of the new fire hydrants there became a casualty when we backed into it and knocked it over! Luckily, water was not yet hitched up to it! One of the many fun memories we have of spending time with all the Kennedys; so many BBQs, fishing and skii-ing trips, birthday parties and gatherings. Bless you in your loss, our love and prayers go out to you all.
