Passed away peacefully on the 9th of July 2020. Aged 101 years.
Much loved Aunt and Friend to many.
The funeral service will take place at Hemmant Crematorium Chapel, 500 Hemmant Tingalpa Road, Hemmant, on Wednesday the 22nd of July 2020 commencing at 10:30am.
“A beautiful life came to an end. She died as she lived, everyone’s friend. A cheerful smile, her heart of gold. The dearest person this world could hold.”

I had the good fortune to meet Mildred in 2015 when I visited my dear friends Robert and Valerie Nason. Mildred was a remarkable person who got such enjoyment from life. One can only envy her the many years she had and the devotion she received from her family.

Thank you for your comments. For me, and for the Nason family, Mildred’s passing is truly the end of an era. Robert’s father, uncle and two aunties—-one of whom was Mildred—-are all now passed. Our generation is next in line. One can almost feel the march of history!
